OKLAHOMA CITY - Governor Mary Fallin today released the following statement wishing Oklahomans a safe and prosperous 2014 and New Year’s Day holiday:
“The new year traditionally represents a new beginning and allows us to reflect on all that we have accomplished and what we have to look forward to in the coming months.
“It has been an honor and privilege to continue to serve as governor of the state of Oklahoma. I look forward to keeping our momentum going into 2014 and beyond.
“I want to encourage everyone celebrating the holiday to practice responsible habits and to be safe.
“I also want to wish Oklahomans everywhere peace, prosperity and good health as we enter 2014.”
