OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today released the following statement wishing Oklahomans a happy Independence Day:
“At a time of uncertainty around the world, we are blessed to live in a country where freedom and liberty are still valued. Independence Day is a great time for all of us to reflect on what it means to be an American. I am wishing all Oklahomans a happy and safe Independence Day, while encouraging all of us to bear in mind the sacrifices made by those in the U.S. armed forces that have made this celebration possible.”
